SEMCO Landfill is here to service residents of
Jefferson, Keokuk, and Washington counties. Before coming out to SEMCO you may
want to contact your county recycling facility to see if they can service you.
If you wish to come to the landfill we ask a few things of you before disposing
of your waste.

GENERAL INFORMATION
WE DO NOT ACCEPT:
- Trash from outside of the three county areas of
- Liquids, chemicals,
pathological wastes, or dead animals.
- Brush or Trees. However, grass and leaves are accepted at the landfill free
of charge.
SEPARATION
OF ITEMS:
Metals, wood, siding, pipes, wire, appliances, tires, and e-waste need to be
separated from landfill items. These items have a separate location here at the
landfill.
